Today we had a wonderful trip to Inverness to see David Suchet (aka TVs Poirot) in conversation. He had some wonderful anecdotes from his time across several decades on stage and screen. He was perhaps most surprised that the whole audience remembered him in Blott on the Landscape, only a few episodes were made in the 1980s but they were obviously highly memorable. The biggest cheer of the night though was reserved for when he mentioned his Poirot co-stars Philip Jackson, Hugh Fraser and Pauline Moran, otherwise known as Inspector Japp, Captain Hastings and Miss Lemon!
