We were delighted to provide the Morris Minor to greet guests arriving for the grand charity ball on 25 May. After a couple of days spent polishing and waxing it up the sixty-one year old looked the part alongside a piper to welcome guests for their pre-ball champagne reception. This event was arranged by local couple Wendy and David Cobban to raise money for two very worthwhile charities - ' A Bear named Buttony' which supports young people who have a stoma fitted, and 'Friends of Roxburghe House' which is a specialist palliative care unit in Aberdeen. They managed to raise over £4,000 on the night which is a terrific achievement and we were so pleased to be able to play just a small part in the evening. Steve (who was not dressed in his glad rags) took this picture as the glamorous attendees arrived for the reception.
