Books

Our upper bookcase carries a wide range of fiction and humour titles while our lower bookcase holds a large number of relevant reference and non-fiction titles in areas such as local history, genealogy, wildlife and transport.  We have back issues of most Historic Scotland and National Trust for Scotland magazines for the past few years.  If you need a little amusement while you stay why not check out our collection of Ladybird easy readers for adults books - the guide to The Shed, How the Husband Works, the Guide to Brexit and of course the ever popular Ladybird Guide to Donald Trump are all available.

Games

A wide range of board games, quizzes and puzzles are available to play either in your bedroom or make use of the dining room tables.

Maps

We carry Ordnance Survey Landranger and Pathfinder maps for the whole of Aberdeenshire and Kincardine.  In addition we carry the excellent Harvey Maps series for walking in the Eastern Cairngorms.  There is also a brand new road atlas to aid with onward route planning.
